Saturday evening was

First we went to

We then made it to the aforementioned three hour cruise, which was also enjoyable. We went from a party hosted by a couple that played WoW to a party hosted by a couple that had played WoW. In both cases, the wife was a hunter. Some entertaining costumes and conversation there, and it was great to meet the hosts after hearing all about them. We ended up bailing on the other parties we discussed visiting if we found ourselves feeling particularly ambitious.
Sunday I did lawn work for the first time in ages, and had to endure both the mockery of being called a city boy and being dressed up in Rutgers attire. After raking up her front lawn, I picked up some food, and we whipped up a quick meal.

I managed to chew through a ton of BSG, she pushed through a pile of work, and we had the Afghani dumplings I had been craving all day. Mmmmm.
Rest of the weekend's photos have been added to the Halloween set on Flickr.
Boo for the stem cell vote not going through.
Starting the weekend early. Gone fishin'. Or just taking days off, exploring the city, and trying to catch up on BSG before Razor. Whatever.
Speaking of getting caught up on shows, as of Tuesday night I am now finally up to speed on that LOST show people were telling me to watch for years. I can no longer get spoiled by teh intarwebs or people. It's great to finally be able to discuss it with people without having to cut them off or preface any discussions with a warning of where I am.
