My gambling reaches a new low

I have a mostly written recap of Blizzcon, my recent accomplishments in Azeroth and Draenor, blah blah blah. But instead you get this bit of pseudo-WoW goodness. But first, #22 shadow damage warlock on my server, #7 Horde side, and #6/#3's in my 3v3 arena team.

oidhche jumped me yesterday when I was dropping off some DVDs to a co-worker. He sat me down in front of a computer and insisted that XD was broken. I insinuated it was him messing something up, and demanded screen shots. Got screen shots last night, took a look, and determined he was doing something within the OU that broke things.

I like to gamble on things. I don't bet on professional sports or the lottery or poker or the like. Maybe I got the love for the action from aaronkliger or Artie Lange, but I like to bet on everyday events. Will person X still be out sick tomorrow? Will utini2 lose in tennis to feffthekidd yet again? Will person Y bail on dinner? Betting on a basketball game isn't as much fun as betting who was in a movie. I'd rather bet on the performance of my friends than that of a horse.
Katie: "Have you tried to argue with kingfox? It's impossible. He just looks right. See? Look at that expression."
Katie: "You can't disagree with kingfox. He's always right."
So I bet oidhche that moving his computer to a different OU will cause the problem to go away. Gave him five to one odds. But he refused to bet cash... so we bet gold. He gets five hundred gold if I'm wrong, I get one hundred gold if I'm right. This isn't such a great solution, as I know he's good for the cash, but he's low on gold. I have a feeling he'll be borrowing from palingyuan to cover the debt.

Sadly, I've bet gold before. A person I used to run my current guild with and I used to bet on boss attempts all the time.

Congrats to my cousin Rachel on her new daughter! As my mom noted, she blogged from the waiting room while waiting to be induced. That's so awesome.
