Beware the Ides of March!

Wait, who had the bright idea to schedule Steak and Blowjob Day (we really should have just adopted White Day from Japan) for Pi Day?

csmole has arrived, and already I'm preparing him for the raping of his culture.
kingfox: Ooooh, this one will make you seethe.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yTPj-fNdgY
csmole: Well, they only come back, trendy black glasses man, if I don't take one and SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS

Two nights ago, while getting back into lifting at home with petemagyar, we had geeky conversations between sets just like we used to. While watching And the Children Shall Lead, I looked up one of the kids, Brian Tochi, as his name rang a bell. Cute little Ray Tsing Tao from that episode was in TNG 23 years later, as a character I remembered. That was pretty cool... but then what blew petemagyar away and made him laugh so hard he couldn't continue working out/eating/stretching throughout the night? The fact that the little kid from that episode became Toshiro Takashi from the Revenge of the Nerds series, one of petemagyar's favorite movies. All night, he kept on spontaneously cracking up at the connection. Meanwhile, I was blown away that the Gorgan was played by the lawyer who defended Jack Ruby. What the shit?

Our claim for geekiest conversation of the week might have been trumped by sonofman's insistence today at lunch that a good lager goes perfectly with a spicy vindaloo. He learned this, of course, from Red Dwarf.

Speaking of my roommate, one of his cousins is the sole survivor from the recent arson in Chicago. He's the guy who jumped from a third story window, after running straight into a backdraft. All of his roommates are dead. Scary shit.
