utini2 hates New Orleans.

A black cat crossed my path on my way back from the grocery store tonight.

I just quoted a Family Ties novelization in a discussion about the attractiveness of a female athlete with petemagyar.

That's really sad.

Feeling: sick sick

There was a Family Ties novelization?

I swear there was, though now I'm having problems finding evidence of it online. Which episode it was, I can't remember, I just know that this particular novel took place near the end of the series.

what was the quote?

Alex was having a whole internal dialog about his girlfriend, and how her nose being slightly imperfect made her all the more beautiful to him.

Now, while I may not have seen every episode multiple times, I certainly don't remember him making any statements about his girlfriend's nose. So was this the novelization writer making a comment about the nose of the actress? Was this the writer trying to add some depth to the shallow proto-neocon? Where did it come from?

Growing up, I was an avid reader, so I ended up reading a few novelizations when I had nothing else to read nearby. The Goonies novelization was good, with plenty of appropriate introspection thrown in. Ghostbusters II, however, had a painful paragraph about Peter not getting Hagar the Horrible.
