Off now to spread propaganda and promote the party line. All hail the glorious Computer Initiative! Long live the Computer Initiative!

Faith No More's The Real Thing has got to be one of the most perfect albums out there, up with Metallica's And Justice For All... and Fear Factory's Obsolete. I've worn out two or three tapes of the album, and at least one CD. Yeah, wore out a CD. I haven't owned a copy since college, as I gave up on keeping a copy usable for more than a few months.

jenniever let me rip a copy of it, but I'm still kind of nervous playing it on my computer. Subconsciously, I'm probably expecting it to break in some way.

Feeling: happy happy

WHERE THE FUCK IS BLACK SABBATH'S FIRST ALBUM AND IRON MAIDEN'S SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON ON THAT LIST? And Primus's Tales From A Punchbowl and The Police's Synchronicity but I thought I'd keep it to metal. Oh and Pantera's Far Beyond Driven. AND MEGADETH'S RUST IN PEACE. METAL!!!!!!!!

Oh, man, Obsolete. I got it the day it came out, and listened to nothing else for the next three months. I made everyone around me so sick of Fear Factory that year.

It's also an awesome album for sex.

I agree with two of those albums being good albums.

"And Justice for All..." I think (apart from "One," which is a brilliant song) is ordinary. Overlong, meandering songs, unlike on "Master of Puppets" where the long songs actually went somewhere, and bone-dry, almost-bassless production, do not a good album make. For a "metal" album, it lacks power, and its aggression is stilted by the sheer length of the songs.

Hi. My name is Nova, and I was parusing your LJ communities about bad parents. I noticed there were only two members and no recent entries.

Well, that community seems as if it's the only decent one for the subject.. I'd like to maybe help promote it if you'd let me...

Broken homes ruin people and I, personally can't bring myself to write about it in my personal LJ. I *know* there are more than just two users who can relate. Whatcha think?
