Furries, Star Wars, and other random stuff, oh my!

Today at lunch I was startled to find out that utini2 didn't know what a furry is. I thought that everyone on the internets for long enough had a reasonable understanding of what a furry is. Do you?

I know there's a couple of furries who have listed me as a friend, and vice versa. I have no problem with furries, not trying to start a war. It's only that I thought they had gotten fairly mainstream, and that most people working in IT had become familiar with them. Back in 1992, one of my co-sysops on thedenbbs used to upload elfs's writings and tons of furry fiction. From a young age, I was fully aware of the existence of the subculture.

How the hell did vitaman get away with watching Episodes 1 and 2, but not watching Episodes 4-6? How did runstaverun get away with not seeing a single Evil Dead movie? Getting back to Star Wars, how did I miss that KotOR 2 is coming out in a couple of weeks? That's insane!
