- I got my books for ECON 118 at long last. I can finally catch up on the reading that's been assigned to me for over a week now. One girl in the class (the only female in either of my classes (yes,
drewuniversity has a 60:40 female:male ratio)) is still waiting for her copy from the book store.
- The Skeleteens I won off of eBay arrived yesterday. While it wasn't a great mix (no Brainwash, my favorite beverage 3V4R), it was the real deal. I'll suck it up and deal with the Fukola Cola and Rat Bastard Root Beer.
- Progress was made in my CSCI 171 class, I got on the team I wanted to help with, and it looks like I didn't miss too much on Monday.
- I finally kicked the flu, and made it through the day for the most part. No longer will I have to drink awful tasting concoctions consisting of TheraFlu, lime, and honey. The Airborne will last a bit longer, and I'm no longer consuming all of
petemagyar's zinc.
- It looks like I missed hellish times at work on Monday, but some people stepped up to the bat and took care of things.
- Last night, taking the non-drowsy meds after running out of the knock me out variety, I got to read tons of Hey Rube. Man, I love Uncle Duke.
- Despite being up until an insane hour watching movies, reading Hunter Thompson, listening to someone jack hammering pavement down the street, overhearing garbage men yelling at three in the morning, and coughing up blood from a nosebleed at four in the morning - I still feel more refreshed and with it than I did last Wednesday through Friday.
- Tonight I hopefully play Halo 2 with
cessna182.
- Four dollar all you can eat lunches are much cheaper than lunch in
the_boke, and much more satisfying than scrounging my kitchen for tuna fish sandwiches, edamame, and grits.
- SessionSaver will save my browsing life, and reduce the amount of hate I project at
jenniever,
petemagyar, and
caniswolfie after my hundreds of tabs vanish. I've already stress tested it. Bliss!
- After my panic over
jenniever needing a jump with my car on Saturday, it started today after not being used for days (thank Bob I found Thursday parking instead of Monday or Tuesday parking - or I would have had to move my car while sick and loopy), confirming that she had just left the windshield wiper in the on but not working setting.
- I realize that once I've paid
drewuniversity off in a year or two, a few worries of mine will probably completely vanish.
Oh, and I didn't even have to use my HK-50.
