So yeah... I'm back. - Virtual Sacrifice Log
Aici zace un om despre care nu se ştie prea mult
So yeah... I'm back.
You might have noticed from the commenting I've been doing in many of your journals, but I'm back from the cruise. My shoulders are peeling, my skin is the darkest it's been since my BSA days, and I had a great time.

I picked up the following :

  • From the Guavaberry store in Saint Maarten:
    • One bottle banana rum
    • One bottle guavaberry rum
    • One bottle guavaberry mashup rum
    • One little bottle of almond liqueur
    • One little bottle of passionfruit liqueur
    • One guavaberry rum shirt
  • From the Bacardi factory in Puerto Rico:
    • One bottle of Bacardi 151
    • One bottle of Bacardi Reserva
    • Two Casa Bacardi tall shot glasses
  • From the ship's store:
  • From Sunny Caribbee in Tortola:
    • One bottle of Pirate's Gold hot sauce
    • Two bags of rum-flavored tea
  • One Tortola mug
  • Six small Cuban cigars
  • Two Saint Maarten shirts
  • One copy of Don't Drink the Water
  • One shell from Cane Garden Bay
  • One shell from Half Moon Cay
  • Two rocks from Half Moon Cay
  • One leaf of a plant nicknamed the cinnamon plant in Tortola
  • Countless memories, plenty of photos, and a relaxed attitude
So yeah. Good times.

Unlike my wonderful loving friends who send me postcards from faraway lands, I forgot to bring addresses with me. I'm a bad man. So instead I'll just have to pour fancy foreign liquor down your throats real soon. Does that work?

Great reference to Rahway (formerly part of Woodbridge, formerly Spank Town) tonight on the Sopranos.

I'll post more about things tomorrow.

ooh guavaberry rum and passionfruit liqueur sound good. In Queensland, the special "rarity" was mango wine. I never got the chance to pick up a bottle.

Glad you had a good time.
