More Sopranos shit
So we're watching last night's episode again, second time for petemagyar, third time for me. Suddenly petemagyar picks out some guy from a meeting with New York. Turns out the guy, Tony Siragusa, was the uncle of some kid we knew from Saint Joe's. This state is way too fucking small.

And IMDB finally accepted my correction to the filming locations. Someone had a different location for Meadow's college trip, when it was at drewuniversity.

Feeling: full full

I must seriously be missing something by not watching Sopranos at all. Maybe I should find season 1 somewhere and sell part of my soul

I actually have Season One on DVD, but you must treasure it and keep it ten times more pristine than an Ultimate Utilities CD crafted from the finest of CD-RWs. Let me know.

I just finished watching it (thank you TiVo). Wow.

I miss going to bars on Sunday nights in Jersey and watching it with a bunch of people with the same accent. People watch it here but they just don't get it.

Yeah, wow. It was hardcore, amazing, and shook things up in ways I didn't even see coming.

-SEMI-SPOILER ALERT-

The person who crawled around in the woods really didn't leave their better half much of a choice. Either they were both going to die, or what happened was going to happen. Wow. The person who walked through the woods after that, the look on their face was priceless when the price tag was dropped. Six hundred grand, eh, that explains someone's change of heart, just like the educator said about them. And on top of all that, war.

agreed, and...

When Leadership Figure "A" discreetly met newly-appointed Leadership Figure "B", I swore that A was going to do B in... which would've prevented a war.

And, hey, that guy at the gas station quicky mart (eating the pork rinds, getting into the car, etc)- was it me, or did he look like Furio after a really bad bender?

Re: agreed, and...

Furio's actor was born in Italy, but raised in Morris County, NJ.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was going to be that simple as A whacking B, but I think that would have had even more ramifications. I'm sure neither letter goes off to meet the other without telling people where they're going.

Re: agreed, and...

What's more is that Frederico Castellucio (sp?) aka Furio, owns a great Italian restaurant in New Brunswick, Attilio's Kitchen. It looks like a pizza joint, and the food is fiendishly cheap- a full meal, including appetizer, entree, and a drink goes for about $12- but some of the best Italian food I've had in a restuarant. What's more more is that Attilio's is literally around the corner from Clydz!, which sets up a great dinner then drinks kinda evening.

We should go there some time.

I was just thinking of making an outting there. I'd recommend waiting until September- as quaint and unkown as it is, there's no air conditioning in the seating area which is, incidentally, on the 2nd floor above the ovens. As such, I generally avoid eating there during the summer months.

But, hey! September's not far off
